Booking conditions:
▪ Prices vary according to season and availability.
▪ Bookings are only considered confirmed once the respective amounts have been paid.
Payments :
▪ All bookings must be guaranteed by a credit card valid on the date of arrival.
▪ 50 per cent of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining 50% will be charged 15 days prior to arrival, and in the event of failure the booking is considered cancelled and there is no right to any refund of the 50% paid at the time of booking.
▪ A deposit of €200 will be held on your credit card on the day of arrival as a deposit for any damage to the property, which will be released up to 10 days after check-out if there is no damage to the property.
Cancellations:
▪ Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance will not incur a charge. After this period, a 100 per cent charge will apply.
▪ Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance will be charged the full amount of the booking.
▪ In the event of a booking cancellation due to non-payment of the 50% 15 days prior to arrival, there is no right to a refund of the 50% paid at the time of booking.
▪ Refunds are subject to a fee of 4.95% on the amount of the refund, whenever they involve a financial intermediation commission fee.
Non-refundable’ booking conditions:
▪ In the case of reservations under ‘Non-Refundable’ conditions, 100% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking and there will be no refund in the event of cancellation of the reservation.
Check-in and check-out conditions and times.
▪ In-person check-in: Between 16:00 and 20:00 | Check-out: Until 11:00.
▪ Early check-in and late check-out possible with prior approval, subject to an additional fee of €30.
▪ Extra bed (sofa-bed) subject to availability and additional fee of €30.
▪ Vila Município has the right to refuse requests for early check-in or late check-out if there is no availability.
▪ The minimum age for check-in is 18.
Rules and good practice Vila Município:
▪ Quiet time between 21:00 and 9:00.

▪ Under Law no. 63/2017, smoking of any tobacco products and/or their derivatives is prohibited on the premises of Vila Município.

▪ Vila Município reserves the right to expel guests who are acting in an unfair, offensive or threatening manner towards third parties.
▪ It is forbidden to make changes to the organisation of the space and equipment in the rooms and common areas. Minor changes are permitted as long as they do not affect safety and functionality.
▪ It is forbidden to store dangerous items in the rooms, such as weapons, ammunition, explosives, flammable materials and psychoactive substances.
▪ Avoid eating and drinking on the sofas or beds to prevent unwanted accidents.
▪ Coasters and individual mugs are provided to prevent stains and damage to tables, floors or sofas.
▪ Rubbish bags must remain in the appropriate bucket. Please do not leave rubbish bags on floors or patios (risk of damage).
▪ In Vila Municipio there are recycling bins for paper, plastic and glass, and there are also bins for recycling and normal rubbish near the flats (80mts, 1min walk).
▪ Parties are not allowed.
▪ Pets are not allowed.
▪ Sintra is a very humid area and it is advisable to ventilate the flats, for example by leaving some windows open in the oscillobatent position if the weather conditions allow.
▪ There is no cleaning service during your stay unless otherwise agreed at an additional cost.
